Client brief:
A full remodelling and refurbishment of a 3 bed apartment built in the 1960’s
Our solution:
We reviewed the way the living rooms were used and redesigned the layout to create a more open layout with a new kitchen and bathrooms. The apartment was stripped back to the shell, upgraded and completely refurbished, including double glazed windows which matched the originals in appearance – a condition of the freehold. Disruption to neighbours was kept to a minimum.
We fully designed and supervised the works which were completed on time and within budget.
What the client says :
“Simon listened to our requirements and produced sympathetic plans to suit our needs. He acted as a liaison between ourselves and the management company to ensure our renovation did not break the terms of the common lease, and he worked hard to reduce disruption to fellow residents.
His suggestions for changing the arrangement of rooms proved to be inspired. The quality of materials he chose was superb. He has a keen eye for detail.
More than the above, we greatly appreciated the boundless enthusiasm he brought to the project. We would unreservedly recommend Simon Gedye to anyone undertaking similar work.”
